India Terms Addendum
Key Indian consumer protections, DPDPA data rights, and dispute information.
Overview (India addendum)
This addendum supplements the global Terms for users in India. Where Indian law grants mandatory consumer or privacy rights, those remain.
Consumer protections
We comply with applicable Indian consumer protection statutes. Service availability may depend on your device, connectivity, and third‑party networks.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA)
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable law. Data principal rights may be exercised via the channels provided in our Privacy Notice.
Consent & withdrawal
Where consent is required, you may withdraw consent via the channels in our Privacy Notice. Withdrawal may impact certain features. We will honor lawful requests within reasonable timeframes consistent with DPDPA.
Grievance redressal & timelines
You may raise grievances through the mechanisms set out in our Privacy Notice. We aim to acknowledge and resolve grievances within reasonable periods, subject to complexity and legal requirements.
Cross‑border data transfers
When transferring personal data outside India, we rely on mechanisms permitted by law and require recipients to protect the data appropriately. See our Privacy Notice for more information on safeguards.
Marketing preferences
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using in‑product controls or unsubscribe links. Transactional and service notifications may still be sent as permitted by law.
Dispute resolution
Where Indian consumer law restricts arbitration/class‑action waivers, those restrictions apply. Otherwise, disputes follow the Disputes section of the global Terms.
Regulators & redress
You may raise concerns with competent authorities where available under applicable law. This addendum does not limit your statutory rights.
